Care Employer of the Year

A company operating in Westminster has won the prestigious Care Employer of the Year Award at this year’s National Great British Home Care Awards.

The annual award ceremony held 23nd June 2012 at the Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane, London and presented by Jane McDonald, marks a momentous occasion for every Home Care provider in the UK, celebrating the dedication, hard work and commitment Care Staff provide to so many vulnerable people in communities all over the country.

Sevacare was also shortlisted for six other awards on the night but were triumphant in achieving one of the most significant awards in the category. The much celebrated award follows on from the Company’s success at the regional finals last year, winning the Midlands Care Employer of the Year Award.

Sevacare, now in its 14th year of establishment, believes its significant investment in recruiting quality care and support staff is essential in delivering excellence in care. Sevacare’s core values are derived from an ethos of being led by quality, not just profit coupled with a considerable investment in training and professional development to ensure the services continue to be delivered in a first-class, person centred way. The award further demonstrates the Company’s success over the last year with multiple contract wins, business expansion and strategic appointments.

Ravi Bains, Sevacare’s founder and Chairman, said “We are honoured and delighted to have won such a prestigious award in the industry. This is an outstanding achievement for Sevacare and we would not have achieved this without our remarkable staff teams nationwide. Our care and support staff continue to deliver quality care and support making such a valued difference to people’s lives. I am extremely honoured and proud of this exceptional achievement.”

The Great British Care Awards also commented “This is just the third year we have held the national finals and we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from our industry. The quality of the finalists from across the country and throughout the sector is extremely high and the judges have had the unenviable task of choosing an overall winner for each category – a true national champion.
